Environment
Always in continuous development
Since its beginnings, the company has been firmly committed to the environment and energy saving. Pamesa was the first company in the ceramic tile sector to obtain recognition of its allocation of CO2 emission rights, making it the first firm in the sector to comply with the Kyoto Protocol.
As part of its constantly evolving strategy, Pamesa has three cogeneration turbines to produce electricity and to reuse gas. In addition, the Pamesa Group helps reduce deforestation by using euro pallets. It also has containers for recycling cardboard, paper, plastic and other materials.
Along these same lines, it reduces the quantity and the hazardousness of its waste products, and recycles and recovers wastewater both for the Pamesa group itself and for its atomized clay customers.
Its constant commitment to quality was rewarded in 1988 with the ISO-9001 certification, which ensures compliance with the most demanding quality standards.
