Gómez Noya sweeps to victory at Ironman 70.3 in Staffordshire

Galician triathlete Javier Gómez Noya, sponsored by Pamesa Cerámica, has won the Ironman 70.3 in Staffordshire, England. The reigning champion swept to victory in the event, guaranteeing his classification for the Ironman 70.3 Championship to be held in Australia in August.

With a lead of more than five minutes over Markus Thomschke, who finished in second place, Gómez Noya won the race in spectacular style in 04:02:14.
