TRES is donating 10,000 Euros to the subsidised school meals programme in Vallirana

The family company TRES, based in Vallirana and dedicated to the integral manufacture of tapware, has made a 10,000 Euro donation to the Town Council of this town, located in Baix Llobregat (Barcelona), to help fund its subsidised school meals programme for the 2016-2017 school year.

The donation was made during an official ceremony in the plenary chamber of Vallirana Town Hall. The Town Council was represented by the Mayoress, Eva Martínez, the Councillor for Social Services, Raquel García, the Head of Social Services, Maribel Guerrero, and the coordinator of the Town Council’s Economic Development service, Anna Bosquet. TRES Grifería was represented by its Marketing Department Head, Quim Salvador, and its Human Resources Manager, Joan Carles Álvarez. The Mayoress, Eva Martínez, thanked TRES for its financial contribution and its involvement in a local initiative that is vital for the more financially vulnerable families in Vallirana. During this school year, the Town Council received 321 applications for school meal grants, which was up 20 percent compared to the previous year. For their part, the representatives of TRES expressed their satisfaction at being able to help improve conditions for disadvantaged children and families in the area.
