Standing taps that a lot of thought has gone into
Tapware is no longer just a complement in the bathroom. The new standing tapware models from TRES are integrated into the architecture of the room where they are installed, playing a starring role, thanks to their modern, lightweight and elegant lines. They have been designed to enhance the bathtub and decorate the bathroom, with the sole intention of creating an intimate, personalised space with its own identity.
Standing taps by TRES Grifería, carefully designed, stand out for their advanced technology and technical quality, characteristics that are seen in their forms. The opposite is also true: their designs reaffirm the precision and innovation of their internal structure and mechanism.
With sophisticated, yet discreet lines that are elegant and decisively modern, standing taps/showers are erected much like sculptures, decorating the space and blending perfectly into the architecture of the bathroom.
The common characteristics of BATH/BASIN tapware:
- Built-in body for floor mounting included. Adjustable angle and direction.
- Chrome, steel, white and matt black finishes.
- Handle or lever for water flow and temperature control.
The surprising feature of the
bathtub standing taps are their
two independent regulators, one to fill the tub and the other for the hand shower. Until now, the standing taps on the market have included a control to regulate the water temperature and an inverter to redirect the water from the spout to the hand shower. This system has its drawbacks and can even cause accidents: when filling the bathtub, the water temperature can reach 65 ºC, so if it is redirected to the hand shower, it can burn the skin. The
real innovation is that the hand shower regulator on the new taps from
TRES Grifería is limited to a temperature of 45 ºC. Another important characteristic is that the hand shower support is inclined to prevent water from dripping outside the bathtub.
