Undoubtedly some of the places where we strive for the greatest safety in our homes are the bathroom and kitchen, especially when there are children or elderly persons in the house. This is why, for more than 15 years, TRES Grifería has incorporated the most effective safety functionality in our tapware: the Protec-TRES® or anti-scald system.
Protec-TRES® technology is based on a toothed ring with different types of notches inside the mixer tap. Its job is to limit how far the lever or handle moves. This disk with 8 different positions restricts the lever movement (position 1 is the most restrictive) so that the maximum water temperature can be set independently of the temperature in the hot water heater or tank.
Not only does this save hot water, it also protects our loved ones. With the Protec-TRES® function, we prevent any member of the family - children or persons who require assistance - from suffering accidental burns.
We must remember that all taps with ceramic mixer tap cartridges, bidets and kitchen taps manufactured by the TRES company include, at no additional cost, this maximum temperature limiting ring.
