I am not sure if I am misunderstanding something or if I don't have the corrrect version of MDB installed, but it seems every time I try to use a PRO option, it doesn't seem to work. Is their a way to find out for sure if I have the PRO version of MDB installed?

There will be a download link on the account page of the account used to buy the pro version. The will be download links for the packages as wel as a pre compiled version, depending on what version you use (jQuery, Angular, etc). Use these to install you environment and you should be good to go.
