Icons in data tables

The icon in the tables for sorting the columns are based on Font-Awesome. I don't use FA in my porject, however I use Icomoon. Is there an alternative way to use an icon in the table header showing the sort order?

you can add your icon in CSS. Would you share with us with a demo of your project? I'll try to look into your code and try to help.
