Enable disabled MDB Select fields using jQuery

I have a form with Select dropdowns that start out in a disabled fieldset. I can enable the fieldset using a Bootstrap Switch and a jQuery function which enables standard input fields but the Selects remain disabled. Is there a way to enable the disabled Select fields using jQuery?
