Widget to show/hide left side navigation panel?

Topic: Widget to show/hide left side navigation panel?

A newbie question... I am building a new web app that is using the traditional layout pattern of * Top aligned header area * Main area below header area

The main area is split into a left aligned navigation panel and a data panel I want to add a widget that allow the navigation panel to be hidden or shown. Hiding the navigation panel would shrink its width to zero, making the data panel consume all the available horizontal space.

Any suggestions on how to do this with MDB/Angular?

Unfortunately, currently we don't have a sidenav with push functionality, but we have plans to add this option to the component.
