Topic: How do I force the mdb-auto-completer to open when the input gains focus

I would like the mdb-auto-completer to open when the associated input gains focus. I already have code to select all text when the input gains focus so that typing will start with fresh input. However when the user clicks on the input I would like to open the auto-completer from the same function.

The component should open on focus by default. Can you add some example code to your post so we can better understand the problem?
